Cass was born into a musical family - her Dad played bass and lead guitar, her Mum a violinist and vocalist, and together they had their own recording studio. She soaked up all the music and, being quite a vocal baby, singing came naturally. At five she was taken along to her Mum’s vocal coach and aged eight she took piano, violin and guitar lessons. She joined the school orchestra and choir and a local dance school where she learned ballet, tap, modern and jazz.
She took vocal lessons and appeared in various productions including end of year shows at the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill. Singing was always her main talent and at thirteen she got a place at the BRIT School in Croydon. Here she learned valuable performance skills and continued with singing, dancing and drama. At the age of twenty, Cass joined an original band as a backing vocalist whilst working in television production at Teddington Studios. In 2003 Cass took a break to start a family but she returned to begin singing in pubs and clubs in 2011. Shortly afterwards she answered the call to join No Jacket Required where she once again brings her talent and experience to the big stage.
